What does the cost cover?

Airfare/transportation, lodging, group meals, some work materials, translators, insurance

What costs are not included?

Passport and visa, immunizations, meals in the airports, free day (activity/meal), souvenirs

What will participants do?

Each trip will have a specific purpose. Some trips may focus on construction projects while others may focus on administering medical and dental care, working at orphanages, evangelizing or playing with children. The area and needs of the community will determine the focus of the trip.

Do you have to be a certain age to go?

No. All ages are welcomed to participate. If you are considered a minor (under 18), you will need guardian consent. However some trips may have a specific age limit. We have a variety of trips available to meet your age requirements.

Will I need immunization shots?

Yes. Depending on where you are going, your local health clinic will be able to provide you a list of immunizations.

Do I need extra insurance?

No. One Vision will provide insurance. Luggage will be insured by the airline company.

Can I stay in touch with the people I help?

Yes. You may keep in touch with the people you meet, and we recommend it. Many places we visit will have some access to the Internet or mail system.

Can I continue to contribute to the same project even after I leave?

Yes. You can contribute to the same project if we plan on continuing to work there or if there are additional needs unmet.
